MrSurety is a fully managed compliance service that coordinates CSLB-licensed contractors to perform insurance-required work for homeowners in Southern California. We handle everything from service requests to contractor dispatch, documentation, and delivery of compliance reports to your insurance carrier.

We specialize in insurance compliance services including water shut-off valve installations, leak detection and monitoring, fire prevention and suppression systems, storm and hurricane preparedness, wildfire defense, structural hazard remediation, roof debris removal, and annual inspection services.

We currently serve all of Southern California, including Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Ventura, and Santa Barbara counties. We're actively expanding to additional regions.

Most services are completed within a few business days of approval. After you submit a request, you'll typically receive a quote within 24-48 hours. Once you approve and pay the deposit, a contractor is assigned and scheduled promptly. Emergency services are prioritized.

Create an account on MrSurety, then click 'New Service Request' from your dashboard. Fill out the details about the work needed, your property information, and any insurance details. You can also upload photos of the area that needs service. Once submitted, our team reviews it and assigns a licensed contractor.

Everything is tracked in your personal dashboard. You'll see real-time status updates from request submission through contractor assignment, work completion, and compliance document delivery. You'll also receive email notifications at every key step.

MrSurety assigns qualified, pre-vetted contractors based on your location, the type of work needed, and contractor availability. All contractors on our platform are CSLB-licensed, insured, and bonded, so you can trust the quality of work regardless of who is assigned.

Your satisfaction is our priority. Before the job is marked complete, you'll review and sign off on the work. If there are any issues, the contractor will address them before final approval. You can also contact our team directly through the platform for support.

It depends on the type of work. For water shut-off valve installations, someone over 18 should be present to grant access and sign off. For some exterior work, access arrangements can be made without you being home. Your contractor will coordinate the details with you.

Pricing depends on the specific service required. After you submit a request, a licensed contractor prepares a detailed quote with a full pricing breakdown. You'll review the quote in your dashboard, and only a 10% deposit is required upfront to get started. The remaining balance is due upon completion.

We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure payment processor, Stripe. Payments are made directly through your MrSurety dashboard for convenience and security.

The 10% deposit secures your spot on the contractor's schedule. If you need to cancel before work begins, please contact us to discuss your options. Once work has started, the deposit is applied toward your total balance.

To keep our pricing transparent, we pass through the credit card processing fee as a separate surcharge rather than hiding it in the service price. This fee covers the cost of secure payment processing through Stripe and is applied at checkout.

The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work. After the contractor finishes and you sign off on the job, we'll charge the balance to the card on file. You'll receive an itemized receipt in your dashboard and via email.

Absolutely. Every contractor on the MrSurety platform holds a valid CSLB (Contractors State License Board) license, maintains workers' compensation insurance, carries commercial auto coverage, and is fully bonded. We verify all credentials before a contractor is approved to take on work.

Licensed contractors can sign up through our contractor portal. You'll need to upload your CSLB license, workers' comp COI, commercial auto insurance, and bond documentation. Once our team reviews and approves your credentials, you'll start receiving qualified work orders in your service area.

Contractors receive payment through Stripe Connect after the homeowner approves the completed work. Payouts are processed automatically and typically arrive within 2-3 business days. Contractors can track all earnings and payout history in their dashboard.

Agents can create an account on MrSurety and submit referrals directly through the agent portal. You'll be able to track the status of every referral in real time and receive compliance documentation automatically once the work is completed. It's a single link to get your policyholder started.

You'll have full visibility into the status of every referral through your agent dashboard. Once the work is complete, you'll automatically receive the compliance package including the affidavit of service, payment receipt, and conditional waiver - everything you need for your records.

There is no cost to agents for using the MrSurety platform. The service fees are included in the homeowner's quote. You simply refer your client, and we handle the rest.

Upon completion, homeowners and agents receive a full compliance package including the Affidavit of Service (with before/after photos), payment receipt, and conditional waiver. All documents are digitally signed and stored in your dashboard for easy access and download.

All compliance documents are available as downloadable PDFs in your dashboard. You can download and email them to your insurance carrier, or share them with your agent who can submit them on your behalf. Documents are also emailed to you automatically upon completion.
